The Sweden Town Board recognized former Deputy Supervisor Robert Muesebeck at its organizational meeting on January 2, 2024. Muesebeck recently retired from a seat on the Zoning Board of Appeals following a seven-year career on the Sweden Town Board. He also served on Sweden’s Board of Assessment Review from 1990 to 2013, as a Village of Brockport Trustee from 1993 to 2000 and a Brockport Water Commissioner.
Supervisor Patricia Hayles presented Musesebeck with a certificate of appreciation and noted that his service to the community extended past the realm of local government to the United States Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam, and as an officer and past president of the Brockport Veterans Association. Muesebeck was joined at the presentation by his wife, LeeLee, family members and friends.
