The Robert Dean Chorale’s latest concert is titled “Spirit of Music!” The concert will be presented twice: Saturday, March 2, 6:30 p.m., at Brockport First Baptist Church, 124 Main Street; and Sunday, March 3, 3 p.m., at Elmgrove Methodist Church, 1500 Spencerport Road (just east of Elmgrove Road, next to Big M).
The Chorale will be singing pieces about how music makes us feel and how it impacts both the performers and the listeners. Selections include the music of Abba and the Muppets, as well as a piece from Les Miserables. They will even answer the questions: “How Can I Keep from Singing?” and “Why We Sing.”
One need not purchase a ticket to attend the concert but there will be a donation box if attendees are able to help support the Chorale. All are welcome to enjoy an evening of wonderful music and stay for a cookie and juice reception after each concert.
