The Hilton Village election will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Three candidates – Kim Fay, Sherry Farrell, and Shannon Zabelny – are vying for two Trustee positions on the Village Board. Each is for a four-year term.
Kim Fay spent more than 30 years as a teacher, advisor and coach at Hilton High School and currently serves as Chairperson of the Hilton Zoning Board of Appeals. He is Secretary of the Hilton Lions Club and has previously served as the club’s president.
Sherry Farrell was first elected Village Trustee in 2020 and is running for re-election. She works for Hilton-Parma Recreation & Parks and is the current Senior Coordinator working with the older adult population.
Shannon Zabelny is also running for re-election, having served as Village Trustee since 2014. She has a background in business administration and finance. She currently works in administration at Hanna Properties LLC.
Polls will be open from noon to 9 p.m. at the Hilton Community Center, 59 Henry Street. Questions regarding the election and absentee ballots should be directed to the Monroe County Board of Elections at 585-753-1550.
