At their meeting on May 1, the Brockport Kiwanis Club awarded the annual George Mann scholarship to graduating senior Sophia Visconti. Sophia’s energy, her academic success, and her unflinching dedication to serving others made her selection an easy choice for the club. She is a member of their Key Club and has helped many times with Kiwanis fundraising and related events. The club provided Sophia with the largest scholarship cash award they have ever given. Sophia will be attending Brown University in the fall, majoring in English.
