Crossroads of Caring to hold Butterfly Release

Crossroads of Caring is planning its 2nd Annual Butterfly Release. This special event, which serves as a fundraiser, will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Riverbend Multi-Use Field in Genesee Valley Park (1000 East River Road, Genesee Riverway Trail, Rochester). It will be a family-friendly event open to the entire community.

In many cultures, the butterfly is a powerful symbol of transformation, freedom, hope, rebirth, immortality, fertility, and joy. Each of us faces challenges, and often, we overcome them with the help of compassionate listeners. These individuals, who nourish our souls and provide unwavering support, are crucial to our journeys of resilience.

“We are thrilled to host our 2nd Annual Butterfly Release. This event, benefiting Crossroads of Caring, celebrates many journeys of resilience and honors individuals who have been agents of transformation and hope for others. It is an opportunity to express gratitude that I hope everyone can enjoy,” said Mary Ann Brody, Executive Director of Crossroads of Caring.

Butterflies can be purchased for $15 each on the Crossroads of Caring website (http://www.crossroadsofcaring.org). All purchases must be made by midnight July 7, 2024. Join Crossroads of Caring for the release as they celebrate with a community service of thanksgiving and hope.

Proceeds from the event will support Crossroads of Caring, a nonprofit organization dedicated to training a skilled spiritual care workforce, offering educational programs, and providing collegial support to spiritual caregivers. They believe that spirituality is essential for holistic health and wellbeing. To order butterflies and learn more about Crossroads of Caring, visit http://www.crossroadsofcaring.org.
