Musician John Dady opens 2024-2025 Fine Arts Series at SUNY Brockport

Acclaimed musician John Dady will be kicking off the SUNY Brockport 2024-2025 Fine Arts Series. The concert is scheduled for Friday, September 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the intimate setting of the Tower Fine Arts Black Box Theatre at 180 Holley Street, Brockport.

John Dady, known for his captivating performances and rich musical heritage, promises an evening of exceptional music that will resonate with audiences of all ages. His unique blend of folk, bluegrass, and blues has earned him a dedicated following and critical acclaim.

John Dady has been a prominent figure in the music scene for decades. As one half of the celebrated Dady Brothers duo, John has shared his unique variety of Celtic and American folk music in diverse venues across the United States and abroad. John is a multi-instrumentalist, mastering the guitar, banjo, ukulele, fiddle, mandolin, bodhran, harmonica, concertina, uilleann pipes, and pennywhistle.
John’s contributions to music have been recognized with his induction into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame, a testament to his enduring impact on the musical landscape. He continues to inspire and entertain with his dynamic performances and timeless songs.
