Donald S. Brown returned as Music Director of Spencerport United Methodist Church as of August 1.
A graduate of Ithaca College School of Music, Brown has been a voice and piano instructor for over 20 years, and was an adjunct professor in the MCC music department for 10 years. He has been a presenter and clinician for various vocal, choral, and theater master classes and workshops throughout New York State.
As the founding Artistic Director of Stageworks in Rochester (2011-2017) he has directed over 15 stage productions to support local charitable organizations such as Anna’s Wish, The Center for Youth, Willow Domestic Violence Center, and Joining Hearts and Hands.
Spencerport United Methodist Church welcomes all to attend worship services and appreciate Brown’s musical talent. The church is located at 30 Amity Street in the village. Summer worship services start at 9 a.m., and beginning on October 6, fall worship services will start at 10 a.m.
