Ferris Goodridge Auxiliary members and Spencerport HS students fill purses and bags for women and men in need
Eleven Ferris Goodridge Auxiliary members and three Spencerport High School students gathered to fill large purses and bags with a multitude of items for women and men in need in Rochester. A total of 54 purses and 33 bags were filled with personal care items, gloves, socks, scarves, snacks, and more, which were all donated. Items were organized and purses and bags filled in just under two hours. Everything was then delivered to the Open Door Mission; purses to the women’s shelter and bags for the men. This is an annual event. Donations of small size personal items as well as socks, gloves, etc. are always welcome.
