IBiB (It Begins in Brockport), a makerspace located in the Hart Gallery 27, recently held a successful “drinks and desserts” reception to raise funds for its upcoming projects. The event aimed to raise $5,000 but surpassed expectations, collecting over $6,000.
The funds will be used to provide free workshops to all participants throughout 2025. These workshops will cover a variety of crafting and digital fabrication projects, including learning how to use laser cutters and 3D printers, design software, electronics, and traditional crafts.
