Spencerport’s Maple Sugarfest March 1

The Spencerport Nature Center will host its annual Maple Sugarfest on Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event will include a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities such as: pancake breakfast, free crafts and activities for children, create your own bird feeder, Geocaching, nature-touch table, sap boiling demonstrations, and much more.

The pancake breakfast runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the high school’s east cafeteria. Cost of the breakfast will be $7 per person and free for children five and under. Tickets will be sold at the door and donations are welcomed. Real maple syrup will be available as long as supplies last.

Proceeds from the pancake breakfast, along with donations, fund the Nature Center’s DEC Summer Camp Scholarship program and the instructional pavilion.
