The Churchville Lions Spring Fest BBQ was held on Saturday, May 3, at the Village Pavilion. The setup began on Thursday with baking the cookies and mixing coleslaw, Friday bagging the rolls and butter, and the final day boiling the potatoes, barbequing the chickens, and boxing 448 dinners with the help of the LEO Club and friends hustling meals into waiting cars while dodging rain showers. The Lions are grateful to the community for their generous support in making the BBQ a tremendous success.
