Lollypop Farm expands partnership with Red Wings to hold Barktoberfest at Innovative Field

As Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester continues the dynamic transformation of its main campus through the Kindness for All Kind initiative, the organization has announced a new location for the 28th annual Barktoberfest in 2025. In partnership with the Rochester Red Wings, this beloved community event, which is Lollypop Farm’s second-largest annual fundraising and awareness campaign, will take place on Saturday, September 27, at Innovative Field in Downtown Rochester.
For nearly three decades, Barktoberfest has served as a cornerstone of Lollypop Farm’s overall mission, offering a powerful platform to engage the public in support of life-saving programs and vital services. These include comprehensive veterinary care, public resources such as the pet food pantry, impactful humane education programs, and innovative animal care initiatives.
Alice Calabrese, President and CEO of Lollypop Farm, shared her enthusiasm about the move: “Barktoberfest is one of our most cherished and anticipated events each year, and we’re thrilled to be collaborating with the Rochester Red Wings to host it at Innovative Field this fall. As the event continues to grow in scale and attendance, this centrally-located, easily accessible venue provides the ideal setting to bring together animal lovers from across the region. With major expansion efforts currently underway at our main campus in Fairport, this partnership allows us to continue advancing our strategic mission – to improve the lives of animals – without interruption.”
Dan Mason, General Manager of the Rochester Red Wings, echoed the excitement: “Lollypop Farm is another iconic Rochester brand that we have been proud to partner with on our Bark in the Park games the last four seasons. We are excited to extend this partnership and host their Barktoberfest 2025 event, which is always one of the highlights of their year. We look forward to working closely with them to put on the best Barktoberfest ever on September 27.”
With Barktoberfest being held at a new venue, Lollypop Farm’s main campus will continue its inspiring transformation over the next two years into one of the foremost community-based animal welfare and education centers in the United States. With more than 150 years of service to the community, Lollypop Farm remains steadfast in its commitment to providing compassionate care and accessible resources.
The Kindness for All Kind campaign will reshape the organization’s abilities to provide support, resources, life-saving care, community outreach, and impactful educational opportunities.
