The official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Town of Ogden’s new Splash Pad at Pineway Ponds Park will take place on Thursday, June 19, at 10 a.m.
The new Splash Pad is an inclusive space designed for toddlers, children, and families to enjoy time together outdoors. Located in the same area as the original, it covers 4,300 square feet and features 22 spray elements, highlighted by a large dumping bucket.
Leading up to the grand opening, the Town is hosting a Splash Pad Grand Opening Drawing Contest for children ages 2–16 who live in the Town of Ogden. To enter, participants should draw their favorite thing about Pineway Ponds Park, whether it’s a special place, a fun memory, or a favorite event.
Contest details:
•Open to Ogden residents ages 2–16
•Participants must be able to attend the grand opening on June 19
•The winner will be the one to turn on the splash pad for the very first time and will also receive an Ogden Parks and Recreation Swag Bag
