Thanks to a collaboration with the Buffalo Bills, the American Heart Association will be offering Hands-Only CPR demonstrations at Buffalo Bills Training Camp.
Attendees will get the chance to try the mobile CPR kiosk, sponsored by UR Medicine. The kiosk has a touch screen, instructions and music to help people learn and practice Hands-Only CPR. Participants can get feedback on compression and speed quality.
Demonstrations available Interactive Area during operational hours each practice day, July 23 through August 7, at St. John Fisher University, 3690 East Avenue, Rochester.
With nearly three out of four cardiac arrests outside of the hospital occurring in homes, knowing how to perform CPR is critically important. CPR, especially if performed immediately, could double or triple a person’s chance of survival.
