RHBA to celebrate 35th Annual Hispanic Business Person of the Year Gala Luncheon

The Rochester Hispanic Business Association (RHBA) is recognizing Julio Vazquez as its 2025 Hispanic Business Person of the year.

The competitive award recognizes outstanding leaders for their decisive leadership and impact to the Hispanic community in the region.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Marielena Vélez de Brown. Dr. Vélez de Brown is the Commissioner of the Monroe County Department of Public Health and Medical Director at Starlight Pediatrics. The RHBA Gala is an annual showcase of outstanding leaders and representatives of the Hispanic community in Rochester. The 35th Annual Hispanic Business Person of the Year Gala Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

Each year, RHBA recognizes the outstanding contributions of Hispanic leaders across diverse industries who drive economic impact, innovation, and community development across the Greater Rochester area. This milestone event brings together business professionals, civic leaders, entrepreneurs, and community advocates to celebrate Latino leadership and inspire the next generation of changemakers.
