Homesteads for Hope needs volunteers for Trunk or Treat

Homesteads for Hope (2185 Manitou Road) is looking for volunteers to be part of its Trunk or Treat celebration on Saturday, October 25, from noon to 2 p.m. Those who volunteer their trunk will help create a magical, family-friendly Halloween experience for the community.

Here’s what volunteers need to know:
•Plan to arrive at 11 a.m. to set up your space.
•For the safety of families, trunks should remain in place until 1:30 p.m. (event ends at 2 p.m.).
•Bring enough store-bought candy or goodies for at least 300 people (no homemade food, please).
•Get creative with decorating. The spookier, sillier, or more extraordinary the trunk, the better. Costumes are encouraged, too.

This is a wonderful way to share in the fun, connect with families, and be part of a safe, inclusive Halloween tradition at the farm.

Those interested in volunteering should fill out the form at https://
