Parma Greece United Church of Christ will host Dan Lyon, a guest speaker from Lifespan, on Thursday, October 16, at 7 p.m. Nicknamed “Dan the Scam Man,” he will share the current scams that are running on social media, through the mail, and by phone. The information will allow attendees to quickly recognize these scams before becoming victims. Dan’s presentation is easily remembered, as he uses popular songs to reinforce his messages. Guests in attendance will be playing a form of “Bingo” and there will be prizes for the winners that evening.
The presentation will be held in the church sanctuary and followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. There is no charge; however, donations will be gratefully accepted.
