Urgent Need for Donations

The Spencerport Food Shelf has seen a significant increase in calls due to the situation surrounding SNAP and will gladly accept any donation of non-perishable food items. The current list of “most needed” items includes peanut butter, jelly, pasta, pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese, soup, canned fruit, baked beans, and canned mixed vegetables.

Donations can be dropped off at the Food Shelf at 4997 Ridge Road West on Thursday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. Arrangements can be made for the pick-up of large donations by calling 585-397-0290. Donations are also being collected by the Spencerport Ecumenical Church Group, which includes St. John’s, Trinity Lutheran, Spencerport Wesleyan, Ogden Presbyterian, Ogden Baptist, Adams Basin United Methodist, Spencerport United Methodist, and Spencerport First Congregational UCC.
