BROCKPORT
•Boyce, Richard C., died June 13, 2013 at Cayuga Medical Center at age 74. After graduating from Williamsville High School in 1956, Richard joined the United States Navy and served his country until he was honorably discharged in 1962. He worked for Durez Chemical for several years before accepting a position as a millwright at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester. Following his retirement in 1991, Richard and his wife Eunice grew many varieties of vegetables and operated their own farm stand. Richard is survived by his wife, Eunice W. Boyce of Brockport; three children, Richard Boyce of Brockport, Cindy VandeBogart of Melbourne, Florida and Tricia Hundley of Floral City, Florida; two step children, Robert Cary Jr. (JoAnn Meli) of Albion and David (Tammie) Cary of Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cherry Wessemen of Texas and Barbara Ann (Jim) Dirschidel of Florida; and a daughter-in-law, Tammy Cary.

•Dalheim, Roberta A. “Jill,” October 21, 1939 – June 14, 2013. Predeceased by her parents Raymond and Rosetta, nephew Ryan. She is survived by her daughter Ronna; son Randall (Kathleen); brother Richard (Patricia); nephews Ronald and Robert; niece Renee; Glogowski family cousins and foster sister Barbara (George) Clark.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held June 19 at the Church of the Nativity BVM, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Nativity Church or the Brockport Fire Department in her memory.
•New, Eugene R., of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Brockport, died March 7, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Vivian Bronson New; and his children, Beverly Piazza of Ocala, Bradley (Jayne) New, Valerie (Jerome) Adduci both of Brockport, Christine (Randall) Stacey of Appleton, and Roberta DeNicola of Ocala; also seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Gene was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and Otis Elevator.
A Graveside Service was held on June 22 at Parma Union Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Legacy House, 9505 Sw. 110th Street, Ocala, Florida 34481 in his memory.
•Russell, Ervin C., Jr. “Russ,” died May 17, 2013. Russ was predeceased by his brother, Paul Russell; sister, Pauline Smith; brother-in-law, Carl Turner; son, Jeffery Strassner; and son-in-law Donald Hibsch. Survived by his beloved wife, Joan of 35 years; sister, Bernice Turner; his loving children, Foch, Ervin (Michelle), Bill, Lyall (Michelle), Carin, Lynette, Mary and Mitchell; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and friends.
A Service in his honor was held June 22 at the Brockport Area Veterans Club, Brockport.
CHILI
•O’Neill, Katherine Mae (Coon), on Friday, June 14, 2013, age 84. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School before marrying Walter on May 9, 1953. Mae and Walt were longtime members of Brook-Lea C.C. and St. Helen’s Church in Gates. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Grace Hahn. She leaves behind one sister, Jean Burke of Southfield, Michigan; her daughter, Kathy O’Neill, son, Thomas (Sharen) O’Neill of Stevensville, Michigan; step grandchildren, Sherri Ballenger and Robert Thomason Jr.; three step great-grandchildren; Kayla (Michael) Baldridge, Austin Thomason and Allissa DeRossett. Mae also has several cousins, nieces and nephews, along with two special grandchildren, Timothy Patrick and Molly Brown.
A Memorial Mass was said June 18 at St. Helen’s Church, Gates. Private burial, Grove Place Cemetery. •Daniels, Christine A., June 8, 2013. To all those who have been touched by her love and her life, we celebrate our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her legacy of love and her life’s story of inspiration is carried on by her husband, Mark Daniels and her incredible children, Nathan, Sarah and Seth.
A Memorial Service was held June 15 at Open Door Baptist Church.

•Lawler, Linda B., June 13, 2013, peacefully at home with her family at her side. Survived by her husband, Patrick; children, Michael (Michele) Lawler, Jeffrey (Becky) Lawler and Daniel (Lindsay Mouat) Lawler; grandchildren, MJ, Maddi, Jacqui, Emma and Erin; mother, Sally Powles; brothers, Bud (Barb) Powles and Mark (Linda) Powles. Linda was a retired 7th Grade English Teacher for the Greece School District.

•Newman, James G., June 14, 2013, at age 70. Survived by his wife, children, other family and friends.
Services were held June 19 at Pittsford Community Church, Marsh Road, Pittsford.
HOLLEY
•Mansfield, Harriett (Nowicki), 91, died May 21, 2013 at the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. She and her husband, Myron, were long-time employees of Kodak where she retired after over 25 years of service. The couple also maintained a cherry farm in the area for many years. Predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Myron P. Mansfield. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Smith and her husband Robert; granddaughter, Victoria; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 13 South Main Street, Holley. Burial will follow in Transit Road Cemetery, Albion. Contributions can be made to St. Mary’s R.C. Church in her memory.
•Parnell, Elaine M., June 11, 2013. Predeceased by husband, Alphonse Parnell; sons, Bill Bieber and Steve Macaluso. Survived by children, Marvel Bieber (Lorraine Vallese), Douglas Bieber (Debra), Holly Parks (Keith), and Jennifer Futch (George); 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

•Weader, Eugene E. “Butch,” age 72, died June 16, 2013. Predeceased by nephew Jim “Dutch” Niederhofer. Survived by sister Winifred Hinkle of Hulberton; brother Arthur (Patricia) Weader of South Carolina; nephew Glenn Weader of Holley; nieces Valerie Niederhofer of Carlton, Vickie (Rick) Marriott of Virginia, Janet (Paul) Novak of Arizona; two great-nephews; two great-nieces; great-great-nephew.

•Mathers, Kenneth B., on June 12, 2013. He is predeceased by his wife, Helen “Pudge.” He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Glenn) Adams, Terri (John) Lemery, Kim Clark, Laurie (Marty) Foe; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Avis Porter. Bud was a WWII Navy Veteran, a Past Trustee of the Masonic Home Acacia Village, Utica, NY, a current “Right Worshipful” Mason of Social Lodge #713 F.&A.M. and Past Master of same. Bud was recently awarded Trustee Emeritus to The
Grand Lodge.

•Verdone, Joseph A., Ph.D., June 12, 2013, at age 76. Joe left his beloved wife, Barbara, and daughters, Angela, of Durham, North Carolina and Jules, of Rockaway Beach, New York; and many cherished friends. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony J. Verdone, his mother, Violet (Miles) Verdone Pantaleo, his stepfather, Albert S. Pantaleo, and his brother, Jere L. Verdone, all of Reading, Pennsylvania. He was employed by Eastman Kodak Company as a research chemist for 31 years.

•Ward, Terri L., June 16, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by her loving husband, Mark; beloved mother of Chelsea (Eric), Ashley (Chris) and Tyer (Christina); grandchildren, Adriana and Brooklyn; father, Lee (Lucky); brother, Chuck (Courtney); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
