ALBION
•Fitzgerald, Stephen J. Jr., age 71, died July 13 following a brief illness. He was born August 26, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Stephen and Aleda Fitzgerald and had lived in this area since 1994. Mr. Fitzgerald was a Navy Veteran of Vietnam and served as a Sea Bee. Steve was a member of the Sheret Post American Legion and retired in 2007 after almost 35 years as a long-haul trucker. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Dorothy (Hovey) Fitzgerald; his children, Shawn Fitzgerald and Patricia Fitzgerald both of Pittsburgh, Roslynn (Jim) Pytlik of Cudahy, Wisconsin, Sherri (Mike) Navedo of Chula Vista, California; his stepson, James (Aida) Hovey of Rochester, his sister, Patricia Michizen of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors was held August 5 in Hillside Cemetery, Holley. Donations can be made to the Sheret Post American Legion or the Albion Fire Department in his memory.
BERGEN
•Sheldon, Derek Kenyon, August 4, 2013. Age 19, Son of Daniel L. Sheldon and Karen A. (nee Angel) and Steve Lashbrook; brother of Trevor D. Sheldon and Sharlyn M. Sheldon all of Bergen; his girlfriend, Ashley M. Stillwell; grandson of Granger (Bernie) Angel of Florida. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services were held August 8 at the First Presbyterian Church, Bergen. Donations can be made to the family to establish a scholarship in Derek’s name, c/o Daniel Sheldon, 14 McKenzie Street, Bergen 14416.
CHILI
•Criddle, Jeannette M. (Gravelle), on August 3, 2013, at age 88. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Robert L. Criddle. Survived by children, Linda (Randy) Pikuet, Barbara (Charles) Predmore, Robert A. (Mary), Susan (John) Mayberry and Lisa (Dennis) Schuler; eight grandchildren, Kristin, Evan, Michael, Kelly, Fiona, Robert M., Alexandra and Madison; sisters, Yvette Boyce and Lillian James; sister-in-law, Audrey Hammond; several nieces and nephews. Jeannette served as President of the Susan B. Anthony Republican Club; President of the Chili Women’s Republican Club; Co-Chair of the 1972 Civic Music Association (predecessor of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra) Fund Drive; and Charter President of the Chili Memorial V.F.W. #412 Ladies Auxiliary.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated August 6 at St. Pius the Tenth Church, Chili. Interment, St. Pius Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Pius the Tenth Building Fund, or Chili Memorial V.F.W. Post #412 Ladies Auxiliary in her memory.
CHURCHVILLE
•McKenna, Mary Irene (Conheady), on August 5, 2013 at age 89. Predeceased by her husband, William McKenna; brothers, Herbert and Richard Conheady; sisters, Jean Hanning and Shelia Mitchell. Survived by her children, Michael (Donna) McKenna, Martha (Thomas) Brophy, Kathleen McKenna, Daniel McKenna and Judith (Kenneth) Brankline; sister, SR. Eileen Conheady SSJ; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shirley Conheady; brother-in-law, David Hanning; many nieces and nephews.

•Klimack, Patricia H., August 5, 2013. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur and son, David Baird. Survived by her children, Karin (Paul) Clay, Kristine (Tim) Richardson and Todd (Ann) Klimack; sisters, Jacklyn Reis and Gail (Ron) Brasser; brothers, Steven (Kim) and Timothy (Zena) Ebner and Donald Saunders; 14 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

•Manning, Joseph M., July 31, 2013, age 92. Predeceased by his sister, Margaret Hartman. Survived by his wife, Janice; children, Mike (Sandra), Betty (Mike) Hillman and Steve (Brenda Bolton); grandchildren, Greg and Brad Hillman.

•Ottman, William G., On July 31, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma; his children, William (Rebecca) Ottman, Robert (Michelle) Ottman, Deborah Clarke and George (Sherry) Mercer; grandchildren, Michelle and Duane Clarke, Douglas and Steven Mercer, Robert C., Raymond, Jeremiah and Sofie Ottman; his brother Herbert (Carol) Ottman; sister, Margaret (Dick) Hamlin; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. Bill was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and was a member of the Lakeshore Fire Department.

SPENCERPORT
•Essig, William D., July 27 at age 88. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Eileen and son, John. He is survived by his sons, William G. and Stephen (Karen) Essig; grandson, Stephen M. Essig; sister, Patricia (Daniel) Tomczak; several nieces and nephews. Bill served in WWII and was a survivor of the Malmedy Massacre. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and a member of the Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post 330.
All services were held privately. Contributions can be made to the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance Service, 116 Lyell Avenue, Spencerport, NY 14559 in his memory.
•Young, Robert H., July 30, 2013 at age 73. Predeceased by his daughter, Carolynn Ann Young. Bob is survived by the “Love of His Life”, Kathe Hagreen; his five children, Susan (William) Tews, Kevin (Julie) Young, Kathleen (John) Filipski, Donna (Jeff) Pieters, and Mark (Erin) Hagreen; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Eleese) Young and James (Sandy) Young; three nephews; and many friends.
