•Rev. Smith, Elton O. Jr., formerly of Newark, New York, died October 12, 2013. Rev. Smith will be remembered by loving and devoted wife Wilda, whom he married June 2, 1962 in Elmira; son Gregory Smith of Florida and his fiancée Beve; daughters Wendy (Pradeep) Saxena and Ronette (Mitsuru) Okubo; three grandchildren Hannah Saxena, Julianna Saxena and Kenjo Okubo; sisters Jan (Fred) Ruch, Carol (Gary) Newman and Annette (Stan) Enedy; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service was held October 18 at Pearce Memorial Church, North Chili. Burial in North Chili Rural Cemetery. Donations can be made to Cornerstone Church of East Pembroke, PO Box 189 East Pembroke, NY 14056, or Pearce Memorial Church in his memory.
