•Viavattene, Serafino, October 30, 2013 at age 85. Predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Filippa; sister, Pina. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Josephine (Cardaci) Viavattene; children, Phyllis (Mark) LiButti, Sal (Terri) Viavattene; grandchildren, Nicole, Alexandra, Rachel, Cole, Rianna and Julia; brothers, Giacomo (Graziella), Andrea (Rita) and Giuseppe (Cetina); sisters-in-law, Connie (Joe) Profita, Maria Cardaci, Michela Scarlata; many loving god-children, special nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated November 5 at St. Theodore’s Church, Gates. Entombment Riverside Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Aurora House, 2495 South Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559 in his memory.
