•Furnal, Norma, of Carson City, Nevada/Auburn, New York died November 14, 2013 in Carson City, Nevada. She was born January 20, 1931 in West Bloomfield, NY to Joseph and Beatrice Sackett. Norma is survived by her partner of 40 years, Michael Perna; her children, Bradley (Gloria) Furnal, Richard (Terry) Furnal, Ann (Scott) Hess, Debbie (Bob) Ryan and David (Audrana) Furnal and their father Raymond (Annette) Furnal; her brother Bernard (Gay) Sackett; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Norma worked as a bookkeeper for P & C Food Markets in Auburn. She moved to Carson City in 1978, worked for the Chamber of Commerce and volunteered as a tax preparer for the Senior Center until she retired in 1997.
A private family service will be held at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., Honeoye Falls. Interment, North Bloomfield Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victory Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in her memory.
