•Hand, Jean A., November 25, 2013, age 94. Predeceased by her husband, Francis L. Hand; her parents, John and Helen Nundy, her brother and sister-in-law, James “Doc” and Dorothy Nundy. Jean is survived by her children, John (Virginia) Hand, James (Barbara) Hand and Jill Galbraith; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jillena) Hand, Dr. Jeanine (Brendon) Harrigan, Joann (Michael) Spencer, James Hand, Aimee (Dr. Timothy) Bruns, Ryan and Jeannie Galbraith; great-grandsons, Stephen and Oliver Hand, Mason Harrigan, David Spencer and Austyn Galbraith; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Jean was 30-year retired custodian of Hilton Central Schools and lived on the same Hamlin family farm her entire life.
Services were held at the convenience of the family. Donations would be appreciated to Judd’s Children’s Fund at Rochester Area Community Foundation, 500 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 to help find loving homes for adoptive children. This fund was started in memory of Jean’s beloved husband, as they both felt passionate about this cause.
