•Bruney, Charlotte M., on January 5, 2014 at the age of 60. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Irene and her sister Daphne Lewis Lofton. She is survived by her brother Joseph G. (Elaine) Bruney Jr.; nieces Heather and Rani Lewis and many dear friends especially the Hawks and Palumbos families. Charlotte was a Pastoral Administrator for St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Oxford, Connecticut for six years, St. Vincent de Paul Church in Churchville for 13 years and Nativity Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport for two years. Charlotte also was a high school mathematics teacher at Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut for 10 years.
A Service was held January 8 at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Churchville. Bishop Emeritus Matthew H. Clark presided at the Mass of Christian Burial on January 9 in Nativity Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brockport. Interment, St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Churchville. Contributions can be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, St. Vincent de Paul Church, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church or Patrick Place Comfort Care Home in her memory.
