•Vyrvoss, John Paul, died peacefully at age 90 on January 4, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Gladys May (Earle). Predeceased by his mother and father, Anthony and Effie Vyrvoss, two sisters, Genevieve Anchors and Irene Gates, and grandson Michael Vyrvoss. He also leaves behind a family who adored everything about him, daughters, Orry (Dean) Schermerhorn, Linda (John) Lotze, Claudette (William) Roth, and Rose (Charlie) Shannon – sons, Vincent (Rosalie) Bissanti, John (Michelle) Bissanti, Joseph (Tammy) Bissanti and Anthony (Linda) Vyrvoss; 23 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. John was a 21 year retired World War II veteran and worked at Gerber Foods and Kleen Brite Manufacturing.
A family Memorial Service was held January 9 at Newcomer Funeral Home with a springtime interment at Hillside Cemetery in Clarendon. Contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice in his memory.
