•Sills, Alice Mae “Sue” (Strickland), 90, formerly of Rochester, died January 12, 2014 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home. She had lived in Orleans County for many years before moving to Rochester. She was a member of the Carlton United Methodist Church. She is survived by two children, William (Brenda) Sills of Medina, Christine (Edward) Walczak Sr. of Albion; grandchildren, Laura Sills-Merkl (Billy), Steven Sills of Medina, Barbara (Mark) Parker of Albion, Edward (Crysta) Walczak Jr. of Medina; five great-grandchildren; brother Ivan Strickland of Kenyonville; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Arthur, Lloyd and Jack Strickland; great grandson Brandon Parker.
A Celebration of Sue’s life will be held Friday, January 24, at 11 a.m. at the Carlton United Methodist Church. Burial at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Orleans in her memory.
