•Hochreiter, Irene, January 21, 2014, at age 85, peacefully after a two year battle with breast cancer. Predeceased by her sister, Ilse Weismantel. Survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Bill; children, Amy Hochreiter, Bill (Terri), Beth Hochreiter (Brad Eisenhart), Eric and Lori (Roy) Bow; eight grandchildren, Sara, Kyle, Emily, Jeremy, Ryan, Naomi, Gloriana and Stephen; sister, Rose Marie Thomas and brother-in-law, William Weismantel. She served as Girl Scout Leader for 21 years.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated January 25 at Holy Ghost Church, Gates. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. Donations can be made to Wilmot Cancer Center or Mt. Carmel House, in her memory.
