•Ebbs, Charles R., age 89, died January 20, 2014 at his winter home in Sebring, Florida. Charles was a US Army Veteran of WWII and a member of Sheret Post #35 American Legion. He was also a 40 year employee of Starkweather Freight and a member of the First Baptist Church of Brockport and a lifetime member of the Brockport Conservation Club. Mr. Ebbs was predeceased by his wife, Marion, his son, John D. Ebbs and a grandson, Charlie. He is survived by daughters, Nancy (George) Luce of Brockport, Betty (Michael) Legan of Brockport, Karen (Richard) Avery of Brockport, Susane (Richard) Trembulak of Florida; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His Funeral Service was held January 29 at the Brockport First Baptist Church. Interment in the spring in Lakeview Cemetery. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
