•Downey, Danielle, of Auburn, Alabama, formerly of Spencerport, died tragically January 30, 2014. Predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her father Michael (Jennifer) Downey; mother Phyllis Downey (Mark Lavner); sisters, Erica (Mike) Setzer, Melissa (Matt) Sage, Shawna (Dave) Tomasso; stepbrothers, Jeremy (Graziella) Brongo, Mike Brongo (Tina Meeks), Justin Lavner and Ryan (Amy) Lavner; grandfather, Roger Conderman; nieces and nephews, Caden, Teagan, Easton, Olivia, Stella and Charlo; and her beloved dog DJ; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Danielle was a 1999 graduate of Spencerport High School. She played and loved basketball and golf. Danielle played golf at Auburn from 1999-2003, and then went on to play professionally on the Futures tour and LPGA. Danielle graduated from Auburn University in 2013 and was employed as the director of Golf at Auburn University.
Her Funeral Service was held February 6 at the Calvary Chapel of the Westside, Spencerport. Interment, private. A scholarship fund will be set up in her name to benefit girls’ golf in the Rochester area.
