•Schuler, Deacon Richard W., January 31, 2014 at age 70, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Dorothy, and his brother, Robert Allen Schuler. Survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; his dedicated sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Michael Schuler (Jodi) and Daniel Aaron (lla); four grandchildren, Aiden, Benjamin, Noah and Nora; brother, John (Diane) Schuler; sister-in law, Mary Pat (Alex) Dauria; brothers-in-law, John (Linda) Popp, Terrence (Catherine) Popp; a niece and nine nephews; his many close friends and parishioners (Dear Hearts).
Dick worked thirty years for Gleason Works in engineering and later in Human Resources. He received his BS from RIT and later his Masters of Divinity from St. Bernard’s Institute. He spent over 15 years as Deacon and pastoral associate at St. Helen’s Church.
