•Cooley, Mary, “Philma” (Bassett), on March 2, 2014 at age 95. Predeceased by her husband, Donald Cooley, daughter Betty Ann Hegeman and grandson Patrick Cooley. She is survived by her children, Donna Lee (Jack) McElver, Donald “Butch” (Kim) Cooley; grandchildren John (Bonnie) and Matthew McElver, Amy Hegeman Gaesser, Kimberly Hegeman Corpus, Marcie Cooley Conlon, David Hegeman, Ben (Marlena) and Caitlin Cooley; great-grandchildren, Brendan and Erin Gaesser, Korey, Kris and Katy Corpus, Nicholas and Jonathan McElver and Amelia Conlon. Mary was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 379, Brockport.
A Funeral Mass was said March 7 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Contributions can be made to the American Legion Post 379 in Brockport 14420 in her memory.
