•McGuire, Samuel Jackson, April 4, 2014 at age 77. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Predeceased by his daughter, Gretchen at 4 weeks of age; son, Anthony at 17 years of age; brothers and sisters, Robert, Charles, Richard, Ann, Lillian, Geneva and Blanche. Survived by his loving wife Joan (Robertson) McGuire; sons, Noel and Tim McGuire; daughter, Jennifer McGuire Kegler; daughters-in-law, Karen Condello and Diane Brady; son-in-law, Mark Kegler; grandchildren, Jasmine, Jordan, Justin, Leah, Lani, Jada, Skyler and D’Shon; sisters, Frances Green and Judith Blocker; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Samuel was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Xerox Corp.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated April 14 at Holy Apostles Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
