Charles B. Smith
•Smith, Charles B., April 7, 2014. Predeceased by wife, Georgia; sons, Robert and Bradley; sister, Barbara Utter. Charles is survived by daughter, Debra Smith; brother, Flagg Smith; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends. Charles served his country as a Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during WWII where he was shot down during the Sicily bombing campaign and was held as a POW in Germany.
His Funeral Service was held April 18 at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Special dedication and remembrance for Charles’ beloved son, Col. Bradley Smith, who recently passed away in Alexandria, Virginia, was held at the same time. Col. Bradley Smith was born March 12, 1946 and died February 14, 2014. He is survived by many friends and family members and had a distinguished career that included two terms in Vietnam and a position at the US Pentagon. Father and son were interred together in Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport. Donations can be made to Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance, 116 Lyell Avenue, Spencerport, NY 14559 in their memory.
