He is survived by his children Glen, Jay (Debbie), Mark, Brenda (John) Honeck, Jennie (Dan) Baer, Sandy (Daryl) Bater and Heidi (Tom) Thurley; grandchildren, Brian (Lori) Snook, Trisha (Randy) Clark, Jessica Thompson, Clinton Snook, Megan (Matt) Honeck, Katherine Honeck, Liam Honeck, Dustin Baer, Derrick Baer, Kenneth Bater, Steven Bater, Zachary Bater, Thomas Thurley, Jacob Thurley, Dalton Thurley; seven great-grandchildren; siblings Ruth Pioch, Harry, Ken (Linda), Ted (Elaine), Elizabeth (Harold), Wilma Leitzle, Donald (Barb); many nieces, nephews and cousins. Originally from Pennsylvania, he worked at Duffy Motts for many years.
A Funeral Service was held May 17 in the Bergen United Methodist Church. Interment, Morton Cemetery. Donations can be made to Lifetime Assistance Inc., or Lifetime Care in his memory.
