•Skellen, Dorothy M., age 98, formerly of Holley, died on May 18, 2014. She was employed at former TJ Lipton Company in Albion, and was a former member the The Albion Rebekah Lodge, Clarendon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Disciples United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by husbands Dwayne Bartlett in 1969 and Donald Skellen in 2003, daughter Patricia Austin, grandson Edwin, sister Lillian Moy. She is survived by daughters Dolores (Mack) Rudman-Gath; three grandchildren, Melody (Larry) Williams, Deanne (Joe) Porter, Robert (Stephanie) Rudman; three great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Stella Mowers, Louise Harvey, Ruby Skellen; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held May 30 at Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment May 31 at Hillside Cemetery. Donations can be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
