•Smith, James D., age 69, died June 6, 2014. Jim was former Police Officer with the Palmyra Police Department and a volunteer fireman for the Palmyra Fire Department. Jim was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed camping and traveling. He was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Smith. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pat; son, David (Mel Hacker) Smith of Canandaigua; brother, William (Jean) Smith of Cicero; also survived by his mother-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law.
His Memorial Service was held June 14 at the Cornerstone Church, Holley. A Celebration of His Life followed at the Holley Fire Department. Donations can be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411 in his memory.
