•Haslip, L. Robert, June 15, 2014, at age 94. Predeceased by his first wife, Joan (McSweeny) Haslip, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Eleanore (Karam) Haslip; children, Susan Webb of Texas, Michael (Linda) Haslip, Barbara (John) Minnick, all of Florida; grandchildren, Seth Kircher, Joan Simpson, Dan Haslip, Jessica Coffelt, Matthew Webb, Phillip, Art and Luke Minnick; seven great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Haslip graduated from Aquinas Institute in 1937. He was a district director of the Welding Society, was a retiree of Pfaudler’s and was a life member of the Metro Y.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated June 19 in St. Christopher’s Church, North Chili. Interment, private. Donations can be directed to Foodlink, 1999 Mt. Read Boulevard, 14615, Journey Home Hospice, 994 Long Pond Road, 14626, or to School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, 14623 in his memory.
