•Hartzler, Fred A., Age 98. July 9, 2014. He will be remembered by the love of his life for 69 years, Marian, and his dearly loved daughter, Loree and grandson, Joshua.
Fred was born on April 27, 1916 to the late I.J. and Susan Hartzler in Pryor, Oklahoma. He is predeceased by four brothers, Frank, Ralph, Roy and Glade, and sister, Edith Helmuth. Also, two brothers-in-law, Kenneth McDowell and William Christ and sister-in-law, Norma McDowell. He is survived by sisters-in-law, Marjorie Christ and Blanche Hartzler, many precious nieces and nephews, and many friends. Fred retired from GM Delco Products after 34 years of service. He was a member of Gates Wesleyan Church since 1943, where he served in many capacities, including Sunday School Superintendent for 33 years and had a taping ministry for many years.
A Memorial Service was held July 12 at Gates Wesleyan Church. Burial in Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport. Those wishing can make memorials to the building fund at Fred’s church in his memory.
