•Maggs, Dorothy S., peacefully on July 13, 2014 in Hendersonville, North Carolina at age 95. “Dottie” was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Lula Stewart and husband, Earl Maggs, 1986. Before moving to North Carolina in 1981 she resided in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii (5 years) and in Hilton (25 years). She was a member of the English Chapel United Methodist Church of Pisgah Forest in North Carolina. “Dottie” is survived by three daughters, Sherry (Gary) Taber of Hilton, Diane Maggs of Etowah, North Carolina and Cindy (John) Quy of Lansing, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Janet Taber and John Taber; two great-grandchildren, Dayle and Dayna Taber, all from the Hilton area.
No Memorial Service is scheduled. Donations in her memory can be made to the English Chapel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1074, Pisgah Forest, North Carolina 28768.
