•Drought, Gladys M., age 96, died August 23, 2014 in The Villages of Orleans following a brief illness. She was born August 6, 1918 in Carlton to Albert and Berladine (Draper) Stymus and had lived in this area all of her life. Gladys was a former member of the West Barre United Methodist Church and a member of the Albion Senior Citizens Group. Mrs. Drought was predeceased by her husband Jason, her son Jason, her brother Floyd Stymus and her sisters, Eleanor Krowl and Velma Wood. She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Gary) Leo of Scottsville; her brother Edward Stymus of Albion; two grandchildren, Melissa (Anthony) Luis, Jeffrey Leo; great grandchildren, Calista and Jack Luis; several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service was held August 29 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Donations can be made to Hospice of Orleans or the Barre Fire Department in her memory.
