•Ruf, Roy P., Hamlin, died October 11 at age 95. United States Army Veteran of WWII and member of American Legion Post #941. Predeceased by his first wife, Betty; his second wife, Helen; and his sister, Jean. Survived by his daughter, Madeline (Paul) Teremy; son, Michael (Patricia) Ruf; brother, Earl (Beverly) Ruf; sister, Evelyn Lindsley; grandchildren, Beth (Wayne) Anderson, Jennifer Teremy, Rebecca (Steve) Spector, Sarah Teremy, Christi (Matthew) Gurniak, Catherine Ruf and Clare Ruf; his great-grandchildren, Abigail, Gibson, Benjamin, Lauren, Nora and Lily Rose; sisters-in-law, Agnes Monna and Evelyn Monna; his brother-in-law, Jack Monna; several nieces, nephews and friends.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated October 15 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish at St. Margaret Mary Church, Rochester. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
