•Gaylord, David J., Holley, age 65, died November 2, 2014 at his home. Dave is survived by his wife Tamara; his four daughters, Kristi (Rich Rozzi) Gaylord of Brighton, Karrie Gaylord of Seattle, Washington, Shannon (Mike) Parsons of Brockport, Meagan Gaylord of Holley; grandchildren, Isabella, Luci, Nicholas Rozzi; his brother Robert (Dawn) Gaylord of Kendall; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dave was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Holley and the Brockport VFW. He graduated from the National Academy in Quantico, Virginia and was an instructor for the Police Academy in Albany. He worked for the University Police Department at SUNY Brockport, retiring after working for 30 years. Dave had also worked for the Holley Police Department and after his retirement at Brockport, had worked at the Clarendon Post Office.
His Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated November 7 at St. Mary’s Church, Holley. Burial in Hillside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 274 Goodman Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 or PAWS Animal Shelter, 3371 Gaines Basin Road, Albion, NY 14411 in his memory.
