•Banker, Harold S., Spencerport, age 87, of Norton Hill, New York, formerly of Spencerport, died November 23, 2014 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany after a brief illness. Born in Rochester on September 24, 1927, he was son of the late Sylvester and Lavina Banker. Harold is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gail L. Beaney Banker; two children, Kathi (Daniel) Lawler and Mervyn Banker; one grandson, Michael Lawler; one brother, Charles Banker; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Pilon.
Harold was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Normandy. He retired from service and joined the Village of Spencerport Department of Public Works, retiring in 1982. He moved to Greenville, Greene County in 1983. Harold was a member of the Greenville American Legion Post 291.
