•Turzillo, Jay W., Chili, on November 16, 2014 at age 61. Predeceased by his father, William. He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of 35 years, Gail (Knowles); his mother, Laura Turzillo; sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Joseph Schnur; niece, Lynne (Derek) Collum; nephew, Thomas Maira; their mother, Cheryl; and adoring great nephew, Ethan Collum. Also survived by his extensive family of friends, aunt & several cousins. Jay retired as a Senior Probation Officer from Monroe County Probation in 2008. Jay met the challenges of two cancers with indomitable spirit, strength and through faith, family and friends.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated November 22 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment in Tucson, Arizona. Contributions can be made to Hildebrandt Hospice, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue 14626 or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Western NY, 4043 Maple Road, Suite 105, Amherst, NY 14226 in his memory.
