Edward T. Melville
•Melville, Edward T., Holley, age 89, on November 28, 2014 at Lakeside-Beikirch Care Center. He was born in Canandaigua, the son of Thomas and Emmalina Melville. He was an Army veteran who fought in the South Pacific during WWII and was awarded a Bronze Star. As a bank executive for Marine Midland/HSBC, he served the communities of Batavia, Brockport and Holley, before retiring in 1987. He is survived by wife, Carole, of 58 years; children, Douglas (Martha) Melville, Thomas Melville (James Cooper) and Kimberly (Thomas) Phillips; grandchildren, Sean and Sarah Melville, Chelsea and Ezekiel Phillips; daughters from previous marriage, Mary Ann Trickey and family and Sharon Moore and family; several nieces, nephews, friends.
Per Edward’s wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
