•George, Vincent L., Brockport, Died November 24, 2014 at age 94, with his loving niece Josephine by his side. Mr. George was predeceased by his parents Herbert L. George and Esther G. George of Sundown, NY, sisters Ruth Cicchinelli, Evelyn Kane, and brother, Herbert L. George Jr. Survived by sisters Linda Greenwald, Colbeskill, and Alberta George, Eastham, Massachusetts; nieces, Josephine (Joseph A.) Matela, Brockport, Rosemary (Andrew) Jurman of Rochester, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He enlisted in the Marines in 1944 and was sent to Japan. After being Honorably Discharged in 1951, Mr. George worked for the General Electric Company in Schenectady, and was retired after forty years with the company.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be in the spring in his beloved Catskills at the convenience of the family.
