•Seniawski, Walter, Gates: Passed away peacefully on December 4, 2014. Predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Evelyn “Honeygirl”; son, Fr. John Seniawski C.S.B., and daughter, Jean. Survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Elaine & Alan Brant; grandchildren, Ellen, Ted and Josh Brant, and Cathy & Scott Crego; sister, Vera Seniawski; sisters-in-law, Thelma Scheib and Terry Radel, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Walter was a WWII Army Veteran. He married his pen-pal sweetheart, Evelyn, in 1945. He started the Jr. Marksmen Rifle Club in 1958, and was a member of the Gates Auxiliary Police thru the 1970’s.
Relatives & friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 7th, from 1-4PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 8th, at 10AM at Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin St., Rochester. Entombment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Walter’s name to Lollypop Farm or to Lifetime Care Hospice.
