•Contestable, Paul B., Chili: 1930-2015. Passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2015, at age 84. Predeceased by daughter, Ann, and sister, Victoria. Survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Beryl; children: Paul, Bruce (Gail), Mark (Sue), Renee (Pete) Skrotzki; 13 grandchildren: Justin, Alyssa, Amy, Ryan, Steven, Laura, Michelle, Dan, Ryan, Ashley, Shawna, Christopher, & Olivia; great-granddaughter, Gia, and sisters, Evelyn Contestable and Rita Wisotzke.
Paul was a graduate of Aquinas Institute Class of 1948 and Niagara University Class of 1952. He was also a proud U.S. Army veteran serving in post-WWII Germany and a former member of the St. Thomas More Club.
Relatives & friends may call on Fri. Jan. 16th, from 4-7PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held on Sat. Jan 17th, at 10:30AM in the St. Pius X Church Gymnasium, 3000 Chili Ave. Interment in St. Pius X Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Paul’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
