•Hall, Josephine DeCristofaro (Gioia), Chili, on December 27, 2014 at age 97, in Bakersfield, California. Wife of the late Silvio DeCristofaro and late Thomas Hall; mother of the late James DeCristofaro. Survived by her children, Gene (Joann) DeCristofaro, Ellen (Randy) Bianchi-Creech, Anne (Thomas) Hogan; also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and the adoring Hall step-children, John, Ed, Jean, Lori and Patti and their families; daughter of the late Samuel H. and Rose Gioia. Predeceased by brothers, Horace, Frederick “Buster,” Hubert and Samuel Jr.; survived by beloved sister, Rosemary (Gioia) Scaglione; many nieces and nephews. Josephine moved to California in 2009 after a long stay in the Chili area. She loved her church and appreciated all of her dear friends.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of her life was held January 17 at New Hope Community Church, North Chili. Donations can be made to Monroe Community Hospital in her memory.
